Sr. Manager, Commercial Sales
We’re looking for a dynamic Sr. Manager to lead a high-performing team of Account Executives. In this role, you’ll hire, develop, and mentor talent to drive new business and expand Dynatrace’s footprint.
This is a visible leadership role with a fast-growing company, where your ability to coach, plan, and execute will directly shape the region’s success.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, recruit, and coach a team of 6–10 AEs

Drive execution and accountability to exceed revenue goals

Actively support reps in the field (4 days/week expected)

Conduct forecasting and pipeline reviews (Salesforce, Clari)

Build and execute go-to-market plans

Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Services, Pre-Sales, Partners, and Customer Success
Work Location & Travel:
- Expectation to work from the office 2–4 days per week
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- Role can be based in Waltham/Boston or Denver
What will help you succeed
Required Experience:
- 2–3 years of first-line sales management experience within software, SaaS, or tech
- A strong track record as an Account Executive with leadership potential in observability, AI, or a similar industry
Key Qualifications:
- Background in hardware and/or software sales
- Hands-on leader, deeply involved in team development and performance
- Experience with coaching, talent development, and recruiting
- Strong aptitude for creating structure, process, and accountability
- Strategic mindset with a track record of planning and execution
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfortable managing a local, in-office team

- Base salary range: $120K–$140K
- On-target earnings (OTE): 50/50 split with accelerators
