Enterprise Project / Program Manager
Your role at Dynatrace
Dynatrace Enterprise Program Managers are responsible for ensuring the success of large, complex Dynatrace customers. Their primary role is to accelerate the deployment of Dynatrace software, while helping to maintain an organized and smooth services engagement by providing planning, adoption, and operational guidance. Enterprise Program Managers work directly with client stakeholders, technical team and Account team, Project Managers as well as Dynatrace Services Consultants and Architects, Support, Product Management and Dynatrace leadership teams.
This role focuses on the digital transformation of Clients via shifting people and process. This means driving cultural change and consolidating Dynatrace’s position within the Client by integrating with their wider IT landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Define, manage, and track customer goals for every engagement based on business needs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including consultants, engineers, architects, etc.
- Manage stakeholder communication across technical and business audiences.
- Address any escalated issues related to project delivery and lead operational enhancements to proactively reduce future risks
- Collaborate with post-sales leadership to optimize resource allocation and delivery speed.
- Identify opportunities for technical expansion and innovation within customer environments.
- Own and manage project scope, technical milestones, and delivery plans.
- Plan, manage and accelerate effective deployments and onboarding, utilizing all aspects of service offerings
- Identify, guide, and oversee the implementation of best practices to enable culture, people and process changes
- Provide leadership throughout the customer digital transformation journey with performance driven results
- Focus on the strategic adoption of Dynatrace within our customers ensuring maximum value and ROI
Travel and Training Requirements
- Travel to client locations is anticipated in this role. 25-50% travel should be expected.
What will help you succeed
· Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Business Administration with a focus on IT
· Ability to face challenging customer demands and coordinate internal resources to meet these demands
· Ability to bridge discussions between business and IT at every level of an organization, internally and externally
· Ability to demonstrate solid understanding of Dynatrace technology, Services offerings, and Enterprise Software deployments in discussion with clients
· Ability to provide customers with clear detailed guidance on implementation and adoption strategies
· Strong, presentation, documentation, and project management capabilities
· Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of technical resources to successful engagements in challenging conditions
· Must be a highly motivated energetic self-starter who excels in fast-paced, dynamic, team environments and committed to getting results
· Cloud, application development, ITSM and DevOps related experience and certifications
· Familiarity with Dynatrace or similar observability or ITSM platforms (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, ServiceNow).
· Fluency in Japanese language as well as strong familiarity with Japanese business practices
· Proficiency in English
Desired Experience:
· Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in enterprise software or SaaS environments.
· Experience with large enterprise deployments and leading organizational initiatives
· Project management training, experience, and certification (e.g. PMP, CAPM or PgMP)
· Knowledge and experience in the Observability space, including familiarity with tools such as Dynatrace.
· Expertise in IT and application architecture processes, with a strong understanding of cloud, hybrid, and SaaS environments.
· Understanding of value-centric delivery programs
