Your role at Dynatrace

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Collection Coordinator to join our finance team. This role is responsible for the timely collection of outstanding accounts, resolving payment issues, and preparing accurate collection reports. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and effective communication with both internal teams and external customers.

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues and secure timely payments on outstanding invoices
  • Maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for customer account reconciliation
  • Proactively monitor account receivable in accordance with the company’s collection policies
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales team, partner team and the customer to address and resolve payment issues
  • Prepare delinquent accounts for legal proceedings when necessary
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all accounts receivable inquires
  • Manage hardship cases by negotiating solutions that are mutually beneficial
  • Apply daily cash receipts and reconcile unapplied items
  • Process write-offs
  • Balance month end cash and accounts receivable
  • Complete monthly Blackline reconciliation
  • Manage partner referral fee accruals and deferrals
  • Conduct credit check for new customers and maintain accurate credit records
  • Assist in cash receipts forecasting based on client collection activity
  • Provide support for audit requirements
  • Daily support for all APAC countries across different time zones
  • Perform additional duties as required

What will help you succeed

  • 3+ years of Collection & Credit Control experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Expertise in working with APAC markets and fluency in more than one language is preferred
  • Strong time management, planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer focused mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Culturally sensitive and assertive communicator, adept at handling delinquent accounts across diverse APAC regions
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to manage collection cases from initiation to resolution
  • Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Office and Blackline is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and strong numerical aptitude
