Junior Accountant, APAC (Contract)
Your role at Dynatrace
As a Junior Accountant (APAC) you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for APAC entities, ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and local accounting standards. You will play a key role in month-end close, audit coordination, financial statement preparation, while driving process improvements and collaborating across functions.
This role is a 7 month parental cover contract position.
Responsibilities:
Monthly Financial Close & Reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts under US-GAAP, including:
- Bank and month-end journals
- Weekly Bank Reconciliation
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to corporate deadlines
- Collaborate with Accounting Operation teams to validate inputs and ensure data integrity
Audit Assistance
- Prepare schedules for internal and external audits
- Respond to auditor queries
Process Improvement & Ad Hoc Duties
- Participate in ongoing initiatives to standardize and streamline accounting processes
- Assist with monthly cash forecasting tasks
- Provide support on various ad hoc tasks and projects as required
What will help you succeed
What we’re looking for:
- Degree qualifications or relevant Accounting experience, and you may be pursuing CPA or CA qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within a multinational or fast-paced environment
- Ideally experience in the technology sector or other fast paced high-growth industries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent Excel skills, experience with NetSuite ERP is advantageous but not a pre-requisite
- Highly motivated and self-driven, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated a strong work ethic
