Your role at Dynatrace

We are seeking a high-impact Strategic HR Business Partner to join the People & Culture (P&C) team, supporting Dynatrace’s Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales/Marketing organizations. This role is critical to enabling business growth and organizational effectiveness across revenue-generating and market-facing teams. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating business objectives into actionable people strategies that fuel performance, engagement, and scalability.

 

Reporting to the Director, Global HR Business Partner, you will work cross-functionally to deliver strategic HR solutions across talent planning, leadership development, and organizational design. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited for a seasoned HR professional with prior experience supporting sales and marketing functions—ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment.

 

This role requires fluency in navigating diverse regulatory, cultural, and market dynamics across the APAC region. You’ll bring a nuanced understanding of country-specific employment practices, talent expectations, and organizational norms—balancing global consistency with local relevance. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a thought partner to Sr. APAC Sales and Marketing leaders (including VP of Sales and VP of Sales Engineering), aligning P&C priorities with business goals and enabling long-term workforce strategies.
  • Assess organizational health and identify capability gaps; lead interventions driving productivity, agility, and team performance.
  • Lead through change by shaping and executing org design, restructuring, and transformation efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with other regional HRBP business partners to exchange best practices and ensure we are consistently delivering best-in-class service to our clients.

Talent & Organizational Development

  • Partner with business leaders and P&C CoEs (ex: Total Rewards and Talent Development) to develop and execute talent strategies, including compensation and promotion planning, internal mobility, succession, and leadership development.
  • Champion performance enablement practices that foster accountability, clarity, and continuous development.
  • Drive initiatives to strengthen onboarding, career progression, and retention across Sales and Marketing functions.

Data-Driven HR Leadership

  • Leverage HRIS and workforce data (via SuccessFactors) to surface trends and risks; apply insights to influence strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Culture, Engagement & Inclusion
  • Act as a steward of Dynatrace’s values by cultivating a culture of inclusion and engagement.
  • Design and deploy engagement strategies that enhance employee experience and foster trust between teams and leadership.

Policy & Compliance Leadership

  • Partner with business leaders and P&C CoEs (ex: Total Rewards and Talent Development) to develop and execute talent strategies, including compensation and promotion planning, internal mobility, succession, and leadership development.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on performance, conflict resolution, and workplace behavior.

What will help you succeed

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–4 years supporting Regional (APAC) Sales and/or Marketing business units, in a SaaS or tech-driven business.
  • At least 4 years’ direct experience in a HRBP position
  • Demonstrated ability to drive talent and org. strategies in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence through data, relationships, and insight.
  • Skilled in managing through ambiguity, leading change, and aligning people programs to business outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, consultative and communication skills; able to advise and challenge senior leaders with credibility and tact.
  • Experience working across key APAC markets such as Australia, Singapore, India, and Japan is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence decision making; courage to make tough decisions.
  • Strong experience and demonstrated skills in handling a variety of employee relations matters.
