Sr Regional Managers are responsible for ensuring the success of large Dynatrace customers. Their primary role is to accelerate the deployment of Dynatrace software, while helping to maintain an organized and smooth services engagement by providing planning, adoption, and operational guidance. Sr Regional Managers work directly with client teams and Project Managers as well as Dynatrace Services Consultants and Architects, Customer Success, Support, Product Management and Dynatrace leadership teams. Communication, technical consulting, and project management skills are paramount to success in this role.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Generation and Sales – owns lead generation and works directly with our sales and services teams to position and scope ACE services for enterprise or complex deals and the designated geographical region 
  • Engagement management and delivery – owns and oversees ACE project planning and delivery ensuring adoption and customer satisfaction. Being the escalation point for both internal and external customers 
  • Adoption Development – continuously explores and develops new and innovative customer facing solutions that drive adoption, consumption and value realization 
  • Internal Enablement – identifies, encourages, and oversees development of direct reports and others ensuring all managers, consultants and architects can perform their role to the quality expected 
  • Builds Relationships – through trust and open communication builds cross functional relationships that foster better collaboration and productivity with better alignment throughout the Integrated Account Team 
  • Strategic Approach – making the tactical decisions and activities to be more strategic in their nature, influencing change for both direct and wider teams  
  • Marketing & Evangelism – works with Marketing to identify and cultivate customer value stories for internal and external publication.  Evangelizes the ACE practice, service offerings, and customer stories through events and social media

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration with a focus on IT 
  • Minimum 6+ years Industry experience 
  • Minimum 3+ years management experience in a services organisation 
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of Dynatrace technology, Services offerings, and Enterprise Software deployments in discussion with clients 
  • Ability to provide customers with clear detailed guidance on implementation and adoption strategies 
  • Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and project management capabilities 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of technical and non-technical resources to successful engagements in challenging conditions 
  • Must be a highly motivated energetic self-starter who excels in fast-paced, dynamic, team environments and committed to getting results 
  • Has in depth awareness of other functions including Customer Success and Sales to drive productivity, collaboration and change 
  • Leads by example and develops an environment following Dynatrace’s core values 
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve complex problems 

 

Desired Experience:                    

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Dynatrace consulting 
  • Project management training, experience, and certification 
  • Dynatrace Associate Certification
