As  Data Privacy Product Manager, you will lead and operationalize Dynatrace’s Privacy by Design program across product development and business operations. You will collaborate cross-functionally to embed privacy principles into the lifecycle of our platform, ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations and fostering customer trust.   

Your role at Dynatrace

  • Serve as the key liaison between the Compliance and R&D teams.
  • Own and evolve the Privacy by Design program, aligning with Dynatrace´s product strategy and reulatory landscape.
  • Partner with legal, security and engineering to ensure privacy controls are embedded in product design and architecture.
  • Work closely with Product Architects, Product Managers, UX Designers and Engineering to identify privacy and mitigation strategies early in the development cycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Support internal audits and respond to privacy-related inquiries and incidents.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure privacy program effectiveness and report to leadership.
  • Identify and drive improvements to compliance processes and automation.
  • Educate teams on compliance requirements and technical constraints.

What will help you succeed

  • .2+ years of experience in privacy, compliance, IT security, program or product management roles within SaaS enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of privacy and privacy by design frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy).
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and tooling.
  • Experience with privacy engineering, data governance, or security-by-design practices.
  • Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or PMP are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Abiltiy to work independently and influence cross-functiona teams.
  • Plenty of experience successfully collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of product managers, engineers, designers, and other business stakeholders in a software product company.
  • Experience translating regulatory needs into engineering requirements.
  • Passionate about combining hihgly regulated sectors, compliance, software and business value.

Compensation Data

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages. 
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 65.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
