Your role at Dynatrace

As a Capability Lead for Cloud Native Application Protection at Dynatrace, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a critical product area that includes Runtime Vulnerability Analytics (RVA), Runtime Application Protection (RAP), Threats and Exploits,, and Security Posture Management (SPM). You will lead a team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to continuously deliver impactful product increments at scale in an agile setup.

This is a dual-role combining strategic product leadership with organizational and delivery oversight, working as part of the Capability Leadership Team (CLT) alongside the Delivery Lead and Organization Lead.

You will partner with the Capability Lead for Threat Detection & Investigation. The Capability leads report into the Solution Lead for Cloud Security in Dynatrace and report to the Product Lead who is in charge of the Product itself.

• Product Leadership - Define and own the vision, mission, and roadmap for the Cloud Native Application Protection capability. Ensure alignment with solution and company-wide goals, customer needs, and cross-capability initiatives. Drive adoption, business impact, and customer success through measurable outcomes by interaction with the respective cross-functional teams, in close collaboration with GTM and Growth product managers. Represent the capability internally and externally, acting as the primary point of contact for CNAPP product-related topics.
• People & Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers, fostering a high-performing, customer-centric culture. Ensure effective collaboration within the CLT and across other capabilities and solutions. Promote hands-on product knowledge and the ability to demo and communicate product value.
• Execution & Delivery - Ensure a consumable, prioritized, and executable roadmap aligned with delivery timelines and sanctioned by the product lead. Collaborate with the Delivery Lead to manage dependencies, unblock issues, and ensure throughput and quality. Maintain a single source of truth for the capability backlog and ensure visibility of non-roadmap items like tech debt and quality initiatives.
• Organizational Strategy - Partner with the Organization Lead to ensure the right team structure, staffing, and skill development. Contribute to strategic headcount planning and hiring decisions. Drive continuous improvement in processes, metrics, and collaboration practices.

What will help you succeed

• 7+ years experience of product management leadership, ideally in cloud-native security, observability, or platform domains. 
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, application security, and DevSecOps practices. 
• 3+ years in a product lead role, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver impactful products at scale 
• Strong leadership in mentoring and guiding teams, with the ability to allocate resources and balance workloads effectively. 
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills. 
• Experience working in a R&D Leadership Team or similar cross-role leadership structure

• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 90.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
