Your role at Dynatrace

Dynatrace is looking for a privacy counsel to join the global Legal team. You are a member of a dedicated Legal privacy team working with the cross-functional Data Protection Team and business process owners to assist with enhancing and maintaining the Company’s data protection strategy, roadmap, key enterprise privacy programs, initiatives and policies.

In this role, you will

  • Provide day-to-day, hands-on and actionable legal guidance and solutions to business owners to ensure that applicable regulatory and contractual obligations are met with respect to privacy, information security and data protection.
  • Think strategically and proactively assist with the Company privacy programs.
  • Advise on privacy issues; review, interpret, write and/or negotiate privacy terms on behalf of the Company with oversight, as needed.
  • Research issues of importance to privacy program, advise on global privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Exercise sound and practical business judgment with an awareness of when issues need to be escalated

  • Comfortable in a rapidly scaling and changing environment; able to perform under pressure and willing to take on new responsibilities. 
  • Uses a client-centric, pragmatic, informed approach to provide sound business advice as well as reliable legal counsel.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team both within legal and with business partners.
  • Curiosity and demonstrated interest in and understanding of software and cloud technologies.
  • Business level written and verbal English language and fluency in at least one EU official language is required.
  • Master of Law from a European university or a JD from a U.S. accredited law school.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an in-house counsel at a technology company, associate at a law firm, or at an EU regulatory agency.

Preferred Skills

  • A thoughtful, articulate and effective communicator who can distill the important aspects of any legal or regulatory issue and make it actionable.
  • Experience with AdTech and tracking technologies.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or software engineering or software development experience or other “on the job” experience with technology.
  • German language skills is a bonus.
  • Experience working in a global technology company.
  • CIPP/CIPM or equivalent privacy certifications.

Compensation and rewards

We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
Salary: 16000-18000 PLN gross per month. We hire only based on a contract of employment (UoP).
