Your role at Dynatrace
• Working as part of the Privacy, Product and Technology team within Dynatrace’s Legal Department, provide practical, actionable solutions to business owners to address issues involving the development and provision of Dynatrace products and services and/or the generation and protection of intellectual property rights.
• Assist in developing playbooks, processes, policies, and guidelines associated with customer and vendor contracting, product development, artificial intelligence, incoming and outgoing licensing, trademark strategy and other intellectual property development and protection matters, data privacy, and the use of open source code and standards.
• Support internal partner program activities, negotiate contract terms for various types of partner agreements, and continually improve and revise partner program-related documentation and processes.
• Think strategically regarding, and assist with proactive management of, legal and compliance risks associated with product development and roll-out, privacy, export controls, trade sanctions, and security.
• On a day-to-day basis, help manage the Company’s vendor contracting processes with respect to IP- and AI -related contract terms.
• Use understanding of broader legal, regulatory, and market risks and trends to influence and set priorities, proactively assessing tasks, projects. and strategic objectives based on the evolving landscape.
• Coordinate with external IP attorneys, as needed.
• Collaborate with internal attorneys and other stakeholders to review and edit marketing and other public statements and collateral.
• Support other attorneys negotiating, and directly negotiate as necessary, certain terms in commercial agreements (including Business Associate Agreements) with customers and vendors, including terms involving intellectual property, open-source code, artificial intelligence capabilities, permitted data use, and other product-related provisions.

• Curiosity and demonstrated interest in, and understanding of, software and cloud technologies; experience with artificial intelligence technologies is a strongly preferred.
• Licensed Radca prawny or Adwokat in Poland, or an equivalent legal qualification in another EU jurisdiction.
• Alternatively, a Master of Law (LL.M.) with a specialization in Intellectual Property.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IP law, ideally gained within one or more of following:
- A technology or innovation-driven company
- A law firm specializing in IP
- An EU regulatory or IP office (e.g., EUIPO, EPO)
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or software engineering or software development experience preferred.
• 4+ years of working experience as a lawyer with at least 2 years focusing on intellectual property-related matters.
• Experience working in a global technology company or law firm with an international practice.
• Candidates must have knowledge of and familiarity with (i) privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and similar regulations, and (ii) laws and regulations that pertain to artificial intelligence, including but not limited to the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act.
• A problem solver who thoughtfully and effectively communicates guidance and makes it actionable.
• Fluent written and verbal English language skills required, fluency or knowledge of other EU languages a plus, especially German and French.

Salary: 16000-18000 PLN gross per month. We hire only based on a contract of employment (UoP).
