Your role at Dynatrace

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Analyst will ensure accurate processing and recording of NORAM semi-monthly payrolls, provide timely and accurate financial information, and is able to use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency. The candidate will need to have strong communication skills and can be trusted with sensitive information. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll process that includes importing, proofing, editing, processing and transmitting all payroll wages, deductions, bonuses and commissions
  • Perform specific duties related to insurance plans, 401k, and timely vendor payments
  • Perform updates to payroll-related information and data and manage overall payroll workflow
  • Ensure timely processing of all new hires and terminations 
  • Prepare journal entries related to payroll and record timely and accurately
  • Balance payroll-related account reconciliations to general ledger
  • Manage tax set up at company and employee levels
  • Work with tax filing service to resolve any outstanding tax filing issues
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and other departments
  • Prepare and distribute reports requested by vendors or other departments within the organization

 

This is a hybrid position (2 days per week) out of our Detroit, MI office. 

What will help you succeed

Minimum Requirement: 

  • 5+ years proven experience as payroll analyst
  • HS Diploma or GED required

Preferred Requirement: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Experience with ADP Globalview required and Celergo preferred
  • Prior experience with NetSuite general ledger, a plus
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices

Compensation Data

DOE, salary $50K - $60K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
