Your role at Dynatrace

Supports the development, implementation, administration and operation of various People& Culture programs, practices and procedures. Addresses people leaders’ and employees’ questions and concerns related to local or country specific policies and programs. Works closely with P&C and business teams to develop and execute P&C strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives. Coaches and advises people leaders and individuals on Dynatrace P&C policies and practices.

 

Role Overview


A people operations expert, providing expert guidance to employees, business leaders, Strategic P&C Business Partners and global COEs on various people and labour law topics relevant to the specific market (USA + Canada). Works in partnership with the global people operations team and actively resolves tier 2 level query escalations. 
Champions P&C initiatives and drives continuous improvement of people services as well as supporting employee and workplace experience initiatives in collaboration with the EEX and WPX teams. 

 

This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring at least three days a week at our Boston office: 280 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210.

 

Key Responsibilities


•    Provide expert advice and guidance on people topics specific to the local market to employees, business leaders, HRBPs, and global P&C COEs. 
•    Act as a trusted advisor for matters, such as Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Learning & Development, ensuring consistent deployment, application of policies and programs, and alignment with global strategies and local market needs.
•    Provides advanced level of federal, state and local labor law solutions relevant to the respective markets, as a trusted advisor to ensure compliance, labor law adherence and operational effectiveness. 
•    Handle and resolve more complex (tier 2) people operations queries, ensuring customer focus, timely and effective solutions.
•    Supports and consults with leaders with performance enablement, ensuring seamless guidance on performance improvement, and coaches managers on Dynatrace values and behaviours
•    Actively resolve employee queries related to people operations, offering support and solutions to enhance the employee experience.
•    Contribute to the continuous improvement and deployment of people operations services by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
•    Collaborate with local site leadership on P&C activities, ensuring alignment and effective communication.  Thinks global, acts local.
•    Works closely with leadership and teams to improve working relationships, build morale, increase productivity and employee retention. 
•    Champion employee experience initiatives in partnership with the Workplace Experience and Employee Experience teams, promoting a positive and engaging workplace culture.
•    Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
•    Provide regular updates and reports to the Director, Global People Operations, highlighting key activities, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications

 

Minimum requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or people operations, with a focus on providing expert guidance and handling escalations
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a relevant experience considered.

 

Preferred requirements:

 

•    Experience in a multinational company is an advantage.
•    Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations essential – USA and Canada. 
•    Fluency in English essential. Other languages advantageous.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation Data

DOE, salary $120K - $140K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
